Job summary

Mettle is seeking a Corporate Paralegal for a 6-week contract based in Sydney. You will support the in-house legal team on property and commercial contracts, including leasing templates and due diligence.

Ideal candidates will have prior paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house, with preference for commercial real estate or conveyancing exposure and familiarity with PEXA. The role offers remote work flexibility within Australia.

Qualifications

• Paralegal with paid prior experience in a law firm or in-house.
• Experience with commercial real estate contracts preferred.
• Conveyancing experience with PEXA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare first drafts of commercial and retail leasing agreements using templates.
• Prepare first drafts of other property and commercial agreements.
• Draft legal letters and leasing summaries.
• Assist with due diligence searches and property investigations.
• Prepare summaries of site acquisitions or disposals.
• Monitor and support contract administration and project documentation.
