Job summary

Murrin Murrin Operations, a unit within Glencore Metals Australia, seeks a Senior Contracts Advisor to lead sourcing, tendering, negotiation and contract management for capital projects in Western Australia.

You will provide commercial advice, manage complex contracts, and act as the trusted advisor to project teams, ensuring value delivery and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Law, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in procurement, contracts, or commercial roles supporting capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of project procurement, contract management, and commercial principles.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement and contracting strategies for capital projects.
• Experience supporting sustaining capital, brownfield, greenfield, infrastructure, mining, processing plant, or construction projects.
• Strong commercial acumen, including contract negotiation, contractor management, risk allocation, and value delivery.
• Experience managing competitive tender processes and complex contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, contract award, and contract administration activities for assigned project packages.
• Provide commercial advice and lead commercial evaluations to optimise value, manage risk, and support project delivery objectives.
• Manage complex engineering, construction, equipment supply, and service contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as a trusted commercial advisor to project managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, influencing procurement and contracting outcomes.
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers and contractors to deliver sustainable project outcomes
