Job summary

Transport for NSW seeks a Senior Contracts Administrator to lead end-to-end contract administration across major infrastructure projects. You will partner with internal teams and suppliers to ensure performance, compliance and value for money, while driving continuous improvement and contract oversight.

You will develop processes for contract management, provide timely insights on risks and trends, and support tenders, negotiations and procurement activities in a hybrid work setting with

• Proven experience in end-to-end contract administration within infrastructure or large-scale projects.
• Ability to run assigned project independently with guidance from reporting manager.
• Strong understanding of contract (construction and services contracts), related procurement and risk management principles.
• Experience analysing performance data and providing clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information clearly.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead and support end-to-end contract administration activities, partnering with internal teams and suppliers to ensure strong performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across infrastructure projects. With a mix of strategic and operational responsibilities, you will provide expert commercial advice and help optimise contractors/supplier relationships and outcomes.

More specifically you will:

• Provide expert support in contract administration and management, including variations and documentation
• Develop and implement contract management processes on assigned projects to improve compliance and value for money
• Deliver timely advice, reporting and insights on contract performance, risks and trends
• Contribute to tenders, procurements, evaluations and supplier negotiations
• Monitor contract performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues and embed best practice
• Support efficient, cost-effective and safe service delivery through effective contract oversight

Place of work: Hybrid working as per policy, hub: mainly 4 parramatta Square with attendance to assigned projects (when reasonably needed)

You are an experienced contracts professional with a strong background in infrastructure or complex project environments. You bring a commercial mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. You are comfortable working autonomously while contributing to team and organisational outcomes, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

To succeed in this role, you will have:
