Job summary

DT Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) at Ormeau. You will own complex contracts, support commercial strategies and oversee procurement, claims and variations across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
• 7+ years in a commercial role within a large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of construction law, contracts and contractual mechanisms.
• Experience across subcontract administration, procurement, claims, variations, cost control and final accounts.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across project teams, clients and supply chain partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract administration including correspondence, notices, variations, progress claims, payment schedules and final accounts.
• Lead procurement activities including tender packages, tender analysis, commercial negotiations and recommendations for award.
• Support head contract administration, including contractual correspondence, notices, claims, variations and accurate contract registers.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, forecasts and cost-to-complete while providing commercial insight into project performance.
• Identify and manage contractual and commercial risks, maintaining accurate records to support claims, change and dispute avoidance.
• Build effective relationships with project teams, clients, subcontractors and suppliers while providing practical commercial advice.
