Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment represents a leading Tier 2 commercial builder delivering a major complex new build project in Sydney valued at $1B+. You will join an experienced commercial team on a landmark project, collaborating with a Commercial Manager and Contracts team.

You will manage subcontract packages from procurement to final account, negotiate contracts, monitor costs, and help drive programme and commercial outcomes within a large project team.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator with a head contractor.
• Experience delivering major commercial new build projects valued $100M+.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, subcontract administration and cost management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a large, well-resourced project team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of major subcontract packages from procurement through to final account.
• Prepare, negotiate and administer subcontract packages, including claims, variations and progress payments.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasting to support commercial performance.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Team and Commercial Manager to drive programme and commercial outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients while supporting risk management and contract administration.

Senior Contract Administrator opportunity with a leading Tier 2 commercial builder delivering a major complex new build project valued $1Bn+.

This role will see you joining an experienced commercial team on a landmark project, working alongside a Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, multiple Senior Contract Administrators and Contract Administrators.

The Role:
