Job summary

Western Power is seeking a Contract Manager to lead the performance of complex, high‑value contracts and provide subject matter expert contract guidance. This role ensures adherence to the Contract Management Framework, safety and environmental compliance, cost, time, quality and customer outcomes.

The successful candidate will develop CMPs, review deliverables, monitor compliance, certify claims and produce contractor performance reports, while demonstrating leadership, negotiation and strong

Qualifications

• Significant contract management experience with high value / complex contracts.
• Ability to interpret legislation related to contract law.
• Proven leadership, communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance of assigned complex/high-value contracts.
• Develop the Contract Management Plan aligned with the Framework.
• Review engagement deliverables: SHE risks register, scope, specs, drawings, pricing.
• Monitor contractor plans for safety, environment, quality, schedule and pricing.
• Verify and certify contractor claims including variations and EOT.
