Job summary

TalentWeb in Sydney is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to lead the commercial delivery on a $100m+ high-rise residential development. You will work closely with the Project Manager and site team to manage subcontractor packages, variations and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience with an established head contractor or developer-builder in Australia and a proven track record delivering large-scale residential or commercial projects

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Contract Administrator or an experienced Contract Administrator ready to take the next step.
• Background working with an established head contractor or developer-builder in Australia.
• Previous experience delivering large-scale Class 2 residential, mixed-use or commercial construction projects, ideally valued at $100m+.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor procurement, tender assessments, negotiations and contract administration across major trade packages.
• Oversee variations, progress claims, payment schedules and subcontractor final accounts.
• Prepare and maintain project budgets, cost reports, cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete assessments.
• Identify and manage commercial risks, contractual obligations and potential claims throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and site team to manage project costs, procurement priorities and commercial outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Provide commercial guidance and support to junior team members, encouraging accountability and consistent standards.
