Job summary

Gough Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join a respected builder delivering complex mixed-use, high-rise residential and commercial developments across Sydney. You will drive commercial outcomes from procurement through to project completion, collaborating with Project Managers and site teams.

In this senior role, you will lead subcontractor procurement, manage contract administration, monitor budgets and cost reporting, and mitigate commercial risk to ensure

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Contract Administration experience in Australian construction.
• Experience delivering Tier 1 or Tier 2 residential, mixed-use, or high-rise tower projects.
• Experience with projects valued between $100M and $300M+.
• Strong procurement, cost planning and commercial management knowledge.
• Experience managing large subcontract packages and complex stakeholders.
• Excellent contractual, financial and negotiation skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontractor procurement, tender evaluation and contract negotiations
• Manage subcontract agreements and contract administration processes
• Assess and manage variations, progress claims and payment schedules
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts and cost reporting
• Administer head contract obligations and mitigate commercial risk
• Prepare monthly financial reports and cashflow forecasts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Support projects through to practical completion and final account
