ADE Consulting Group in the Hunter region is seeking a Senior to Associate Environmental Consultant/Scientist or Engineer to lead contaminated-land projects across NSW. You will mentor juniors, manage budgets and schedules, and work with geotechnical, hazmat, and occupational hygiene teams to deliver practical, defensible outcomes.

Candidates should have 8–10+ years in contaminated land or environmental consulting, a local Newcastle-area presence, and CEnvP (or equivalent) preferred.

Formación

• 8-10+ years in contaminated land or environmental consulting.
• Local presence in the Newcastle / Hunter / Central Coast region.
• CEnvP (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong field and technical capability across soil, groundwater, vapour, and air.
• Solid understanding of NSW regulatory frameworks (NEPM, CLM Act, council requirements).
• Leadership ability — mentoring, reviewing, guiding field programs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead contaminated-land investigations (PSI, DSI, groundwater, vapour, remediation, validation).
• Manage projects including budgets, scheduling, and subcontractors.
• Produce and review reports that are clear, defensible, and NSW-compliant.
• Mentor junior consultants and support capability development.
• Engage with clients to maintain relationships and deliver practical advice.
