Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead Risk Transformation in Third Party Risk Management in Sydney. You will help clients identify, assess and manage third-party risks across the lifecycle, delivering practical solutions in a collaborative team.

The role offers hybrid working options, flexibility with hours, and opportunities to shape risk programs for public and private sector clients across Australia and Oceania.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management, governance, compliance, or audit roles within professional services, blue-chip, or government organisations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of third-party risk management concepts, risk and control frameworks (COSO, ISO, NIST), and regulatory requirements relevant to TPRM (SoCI, Privacy Act, Modern Slavery, CPS 230).
• Familiarity with TPRM and/or GRC tools and technologies (Archer, ServiceNow, SAP, ProcessUnity).
• Experience supporting or conducting third-party risk assessments, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Understanding of the diverse risk landscape across cyber, privacy, regulatory, and operational domains.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work in teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of TPRM and risk transformation engagements, supporting design, implementation, and improvement of third-party risk programs.
• Assist with current state assessments, develop risk strategies, and support the build and operation of TPRM frameworks, tools and processes.
• Work with clients to identify, assess, and manage third-party risks including cyber, privacy, regulatory, financial, operational, and reputational risks.
• Support preparation and review of client deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and maintain productive client relationships, contributing to a positive team culture.
