Job summary

CyberCX in Sydney seeks a Senior Consultant - Strategic Communications to shape crisis communications strategies and engagements for cyber security incidents. You will lead discovery with clients, build strategic communications, manage expectations, and produce proposals and reports for senior stakeholders.

A strong background in PR, media relations, and adversarial communications is expected, with Australian citizenship and ability to hold Australian Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Confident consulting with external stakeholders on playbooks, communications strategies, and engagement plans.
• Experience working in a PR agency, media consultancy, or communications roles.
• Experience dealing with press and media in adversarial situations.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

How you will make an impact

• Prepare clients for critical cyber security incidents through contributing to their reputational resilience and crisis management capability
• Support the development of strategic communications strategies and solutions to protect clients and their customers

Day to day you will

• Lead discovery activities with client stakeholders to inform deliverables and shape client outcomes
• Facilitate strategic communications awareness among our clients’ leadership teams
• Manage client expectations, communicate effectively, and develop professional relationships with clients
• Produce high-quality proposals, reports, and presentations for senior client stakeholders

Skills & Qualifications

• Confident consulting with external stakeholders on playbooks, communications strategies, and engagement plans
• Previously worked in a PR Agency, Media Consultancy, or Communications Roles
• Experience dealing with Press and Media in Adversarial situations
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Cyber Security knowledge is a bonus but not essential
