Job summary

Eleven and FleishmanHillard ANZ seeks senior consultants who are passionate about knowledge, quickly understanding client businesses and the media landscape in Australia. You will develop campaigns, manage media relations, and collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver impactful programs.

You will build journalist relationships, research media lists, and coordinate coverage inside a wider marketing mix. Strong writing, research, and presentation skills, plus the ability to adapt to

Qualifications

• 1+ year’s agency-related experience.
• Writing for different areas of the media.
• Able to create and sell stories to news media.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good people skills – able to relate to a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Understand PR within a wider marketing mix.
• Coordinate media list reviews and conduct media research.
• Develop journalist relationships and maintain editorial contacts and calendars.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Australian media landscape across verticals.
• Execute media relations to meet campaign and retainer KPIs.
• Manage journalist inquiries and pitch stories; pivot angles with supervisor support.
• Support post-campaign analysis and reporting; use media analytics tools.

Seniorconsultantsareteamplayersandproblemsolvers,abletoquicklyadapttonewsituations.Theyaregoodatresearchandworktoassistseniormembersoftheteamtodevelopandimplementcampaignsforclients.

YOURRESPONSIBILITIES

Product:

• Understandingofpublicrelationswithinwidermarketingmix.
• Strongmediarelationscoordinationskillsincludingreviewingmedialistsandconductingmediaresearch.
• Journalistrelationships;havingfamiliaritywithjournalistspecialism/interests,editorialcontactsandcalendars,publicationdates.
• StrongknowledgeandunderstandingofAustralianmedialandscape;publicationsacrossallverticals.
• Implementmediarelationstomeetcampaignand/orretainerKPI's,includinglaunchdaypresspackdistribution.
• Managejournalistenquiries,creativepitchingofstoriesanddemonstratesproblemsolvingtopivotangleswiththesupportofsupervisor.
• Managepostcampaignanalysisincludingresulttracking,reportingandEOD's,includingproficiencyinPRtoolssuchasMeltwater/iSentia.
