About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our Payroll Consulting team.

Our Payroll Consulting team is an exciting, fast‑paced, ever‑changing and growing environment. As employers discovered the difficulties in maintaining compliance with their Industry Award or Enterprise Agreement, underpayments became apparent, and criminalisation has brought even higher focus to the importance of this area. We assist clients with understanding whether they are at risk of underpaying their employees in line with the relevant Industry Award or Enterprise Agreement, and calculate those underpayments through historical reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Address matters relating to payroll compliance, industry awards, data cleansing, and reconciliation modelling
• Reconciliation tool design, build and implementation (using excel and other platforms)
• Analysis of complex Excel workbooks for review and simplification
• Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules and tasks (in alignment to frameworks)
• Organise and attend stakeholder/client meetings and manage client relationships
• Document and follow up on key actions from meetings

About You

• Exposure to payroll compliance/ payroll remediation projects
• Highly proficient in Excel (essential), Alteryx, Power BI or similar platforms
• Committed to the successful delivery of projects and outcomes
• Proven ability to lead client workshops and meetings, facilitating discussions, gathering requirements, and presenting solutions with confidence
• Analysts who have worked on large data and employment projects outside of this space and can see themselves moving into the wage compliance space should also consider applying
