The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of IFRS engagements for clients requiring accounting and reporting support. The role is suited to an experienced Consultant who is CA qualified (or near to completion) and has a strong foundation in IFRS accounting standards. This is a client-facing advisory role requiring strong technical research skills, clear written communication and the ability to translate technical accounting and finance issues into practical advice for clients. Candidates with a background in Audit or Business Services are well suited, bringing the right mix of technical accounting discipline, process understanding and client delivery experience.

Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of accounting experience gained in Audit, Business Services or similar experience from a respectable Accounting Firm. Combined with: CA qualified or near to completion, with relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, finance or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience of IFRS accounting standards, with exposure to AASB 16 is mandatory. Exposure working with finance teams to improve processes, systems, reporting and ways of working would be highly regarded. Interest and/or exposure to working with large data sets that need interpretation using Excel is preferred. Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear client correspondence across emails, reports, memos and PowerPoint presentations. Strong analytical, problem-solving and research skills, with attention to detail and a practical client-service mindset. Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.
