Job summary

Goodman Fielder is seeking an Internal Auditor to broaden your audit career within a leading food manufacturing business operating across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. You will report to the Internal Audit Director and play a key role in strengthening risk management, internal controls and governance, leading audits and partnering with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting; CA or CPA qualification.
• Proven internal or external audit experience, ideally with Big 4 or Mid-Tier firms.
• Experience auditing in manufacturing, FMCG, or similar complex environments.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communication and report-writing; ability to influence stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with sound judgement and genuine interest in how businesses operate.

• Lead internal audits, reviews and investigations across the business, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

What you will do

• Lead internal audits, reviews and investigations across our business, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Assess financial, operational and system controls to strengthen governance, compliance and accountability.
• Partner with business leaders to develop practical solutions and remediation plans.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Support investigations and special project reviews.
• Build strong relationships across our sites, markets and functions..
• Travel domestically and internationally across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific as required.

What you will Bring

• A degree in Accounting, with CA or CPA qualification.
• Proven internal or external audit experience, ideally gained within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier professional services firm.
• Experience auditing within manufacturing, FMCG or a similarly complex operational environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to identify risks and practical solutions.
• Confident communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present findings constructively.
• A collaborative mindset, sound judgement and a genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate.
• Flexibility to travel up to 60% across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
