Job summary

Samsung C&T Corporation Australia seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead a major Transmission Line Project in Melbourne, overseeing bidding and on-site delivery while driving safety, quality and schedule adherence. You will coordinate with engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
Certifications in construction project management or safety management are preferred.
Extensive experience delivering large-scale energy sector projects.

Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership and direction to the construction team.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.
Identify suppliers and sub-contractors for construction activities.
Monitor and coordinate on-site work to meet specifications, quality, and timelines.
Develop and manage the construction budget and cost control.
Review drawings, specifications, and participate in RFT/tender processes.
