Job summary

All Energy Contracting (AEC) seeks an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of major renewable energy projects, starting with the Laceby Solar Farm in north-east Victoria. You will manage Supervisors/Foremen, coordinate civil, electrical and mechanical works, and ensure safety, schedule and budget adherence across a high-profile build.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will drive day-to-day execution, monitor quality, and foster continuous improvement while

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading on-site construction in renewables, infrastructure or civil sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and site logistics.
• Proven ability to manage site-based supervisory teams.
• Solid WHS knowledge and safe work practices.
• Holding a White Card and a valid driver's licence is required.
• Australian working rights with fitness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction across civil, electrical and mechanical works, ensuring safety, program and budget.
• Direct and support Supervisors and Foremen to drive daily execution.
• Manage labour, plant, subcontractors and materials to optimise productivity.
• Monitor progress and quality; drive corrective actions and improvements.
• Ensure works meet designs, specifications and construction methodologies.
• Own site quality outcomes from inspections to defect close-out.
• Coordinate interfaces across engineering, procurement, commissioning and QA.
• Coach Supervisors and report progress and cost-to-complete to the Project Manager.
