Job summary
Powercor in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to provide testing and commissioning leadership across distribution, sub-transmission and transmission assets. You will scope, design support and estimate commissioning projects, while guiding the Commissioning team and ensuring policy adherence.
You will oversee testing plans, coordinate internal and subcontracted resources, and mentor engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time and safely, driving continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) is required.
- Advanced Diploma ESI – Power Systems is advantageous.
- Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria (RPEV) is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Review scope and design to evaluate constructability and testing.
- Prepare commissioning methodology, plans and reports.
- Lead testing and commissioning activities and coordinate resources.
- Develop commissioning plans including risk and outage management.
- Mentor commissioning and construction personnel.
