About the role

Our Senior Commercial Business partners sit within our Integrated Gas Shareholder & Finance team and are a strategic partner for our Integrated Gas Assets Services team (who are responsible for the execution of drilling, completions, workovers, major projects) and provide strategic commercial decision-making support to Asset Services and the Asset Services leadership team.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will partner with the business to provide accurate, timely and transparent operational, performance and financial data to ensure key stakeholders have the right business insights to achieve strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting for management reporting on costs, including provision of strategic insights, analysis, and interpretation of financial data that enables and challenges managers to efficiently drive their business and deliver cost reduction initiatives.
  • Responsible for delivering the partnering area's Annual Budget, Long Term Financial Plan, forecasts and monthly reporting for the Operating Assets business unit deploying analytical insights, understanding key cost drivers, clear and concise messaging, and collaboration across the business.
  • Drive Frontline Leadership cost accountability within Intergraded Gas.
  • Collaborating with and challenging internal stakeholders to drive business change and identify opportunities in the business.
  • Apply critical thinking to advise the team on developing and delivering business asset plans aligned to the company’s strategy.
About you

As a trusted business partner, you will excel in stakeholder management, exceptional storytelling and communication, effectively presenting complex technical information to the Executive Leadership Team and across the organisation.

  • Demonstrated experience in face paced operations supporting the safely execution (8 plus years' post qualification in engineering or commercial)
  • Strong track record of delivering process and reporting improvements
  • Interest in understanding performance and cost outcomes for Asset Services delivery
