AGL is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to join the Credit & Affordability team in Docklands, VIC. You will drive forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling to influence strategic decisions across a portfolio with billions in annual billings.

Reporting to the Commercial Insights & Analytics Manager, you will partner with operational leaders to deliver data-driven recommendations, support investment decisions and enhance reporting effectiveness using Power BI and SQL.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial, finance, strategy or analytical role within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong capability in financial forecasting, budgeting, modelling and scenario analysis.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with large datasets, Power BI, SQL and Excel.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes through data-driven decision-making.
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, Mathematics or related discipline, with experience in credit, collections or data-rich environments highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Lead financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis for the Credit & Affordability portfolio, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Develop financial models, business cases and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives and investments.
• Deliver commercial insights and recommendations that drive informed decision-making and business performance.
• Utilise Power BI, SQL and large datasets to generate actionable insights and improve reporting effectiveness.
• Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations translating complex data into clear business outcomes.
• Partner with leaders across Finance, Credit & Affordability and Customer Operations to strengthen governance and deliver results.
