Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect - Cloud and Network Security to lead design, implementation, operations, and governance of enterprise-grade security solutions. You will manage firewall, VPN, ISE, WAF, SIEM, EDR, and cloud security programs while ensuring regulatory compliance and scalable security architecture.

The role requires hands-on engineering capability, strong design thinking, and experience modernizing security across large infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Must have cybersecurity fundamentals and governance experience.
• Experience with security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead network security initiatives and security operations.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Hands-on engineering with cloud and network security architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own BAU operations delivery for network and cloud security services.
• Lead major incident management and post-incident RCA tracking.
• Operate firewalls, VPNs, ISE, WAF and cloud security controls across environments.
• Oversee security governance, policy compliance, and audit readiness.
• Drive automation, changes, and runbook documentation for security functions.
