Job summary

Orro Group in Australia seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to own and mature the platforms the company runs on. You will set standards, lead uplift from design to handover, and raise the capability of the engineers around you.

Reporting to the Head of Internal IT, you will manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure, focusing on design, automation and security while mentoring junior staff and participating in on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in systems engineering or related fields with hands-on depth in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure.
• Practical identity and access management experience including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO and least privilege.
• Strong endpoint management across Windows devices and security baselines.

Responsibilities

• Own and mature core Internal IT platforms across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure, endpoints and backup.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex identity, endpoint, cloud and platform issues with root cause analysis.
• Lead technical improvements, lifecycle initiatives and security uplift from design through implementation.
• Strengthen identity and endpoint controls including Conditional Access and least privilege.
• Mentor Systems Engineers and Systems Administrators; maintain runbooks and audit evidence.
