Job summary

NRI Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our growing Managed Services team in Australia. You will work on AWS cloud platform operations, ensure platform health, security, and automation, and contribute to reliability and cost governance for key clients.

You’ll build and maintain IaC, manage monitoring and incident response, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes while working with leading-edge tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS experience across VPC, IAM, EC2, ALB/NLB, Route 53, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Systems Manager, KMS.

Responsibilities

• Cloud platform operations for AWS environments, ensuring health, availability and performance.
• Implement security controls, access management and compliance with incident response.
• Develop and maintain IaC for repeatable provisioning (Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK).
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure configuration and automation.
• Configure observability with metrics, logs and traces; participate in on-call and root cause analysis.
• Identify reliability improvements and contribute to cost governance and standardisation.
