Job summary

Trideca is recruiting Senior Cloud Architects and Cloud Engineers to support delivery for a federal government CIO Group. You will develop enterprise cloud platform architectures for Azure and M365, guide engineers on implementation, and align builds with whole-of-government standards.

You will work with business owners, scrum masters, analysts, developers and testers to shape solutions, promote reuse-first approaches and support CI/CD and deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud implementation experience with Azure services.
• Azure DevOps across code management, IaC and CI/CD.
• Experience with Entra ID, Key Vault, Monitor, and Insights.
• Experience integrating cloud systems with Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Azure networking, security, and identity (VNet, Private Endpoints, RBAC).
• Strong communication across dispersed teams and Agile delivery.

About the role

Trideca is recruiting Senior Cloud Architects and Cloud Engineers to support delivery across a federal government CIO Group. The group provides enabling services and delivery across a range of ICT projects, with a strong focus on enterprise-level cloud platform architecture for Microsoft Azure and M365.

You will develop high-level and detailed solution architectures, guide cloud engineers on implementation, and work across cross-functional teams to align builds with whole-of-government standards.

What you will do

• Develop enterprise cloud platform architectures for Azure and M365
• Produce high-level and detailed solution architecture and guidance
• Assess the impact of user and stakeholder requirements on architecture decisions
• Maintain alignment with whole-of-government and enterprise architecture standards
• Work with business owners, scrum masters, analysts, developers, and testers to shape solutions
• Liaise with Service Experience and Enterprise Architecture teams to keep decisions aligned to target architecture and user experience
• Support platform automation, testing, CI/CD, and deployment
• Promote reuse-first and configure-over-customise architecture principles
• Support alignment with the Digital Service Standard
• Act as a technical leader and influencer across teams

What you will bring

• 5+ years of cloud implementation experience, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus, and API Management
• Azure DevOps experience across code management, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights
• Experience integrating cloud systems with third-party platforms, including Dynamics 365 CRM
• Azure networking, security, and identity experience (Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, RBAC)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across dispersed and mixed technical/non-technical teams
• Agile delivery experience, with the flexibility to adjust direction as requirements shift

Desirable

• A track record of technical leadership across projects and operations
• Broad cloud architecture experience across application, integration, or infrastructure platforms
• 3+ years designing and documenting architecture for large, complex enterprise systems
• AWS and/or GCP experience
