Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Distributed Software Engineer to advance backend AI infrastructure services within the DGX Cloud Team. You will design scalable, resilient microservices deployed on Kubernetes, enabling AI researchers to train at scale across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role requires 5+ years in backend development with Python/Go/C/C++, experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Slurm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Experience building and scaling large distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize AI infrastructure services for peak performance and resiliency.
• Design, implement, and optimize microservices orchestrated by Kubernetes for large-scale AI workflows.
• Co-design APIs to integrate with NVIDIA resiliency stacks and telemetry services.
• Create submission abstractions for long-running training jobs with auto-restarts and fault handling.
• Ensure modular service design compatible with on-prem NVIDIA AI clusters.
