Job summary

NT Government - Department of Corrections in Darwin is recruiting a Senior Clinician to perform criminogenic risk assessments and oversee delivery of psychological services for youth in custody and the community.

The role provides specialist input to treatment plans, court and parole board reports, and works with multi-disciplinary teams across custodial and community settings. Report to the Principal Psychologist and offer peer training and support.

Qualifications

• Senior Clinician conducts comprehensive criminogenic risk and needs assessments.
• Delivers and supervises criminogenic needs programs and other psychological services.
• Provides input to treatment plans, court and parole board reports, and supports multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assists Principal Psychologist to develop, deliver and evaluate treatment programs for youth.
• Works with community, custodial and home-based teams alongside other clinicians.
• Provides peer consultation, training and professional support to colleagues as required.
