Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 for Northern Beaches Hospital to provide senior nursing leadership and develop specialist practice within a nursing unit.

The CNS will exercise extended autonomy, collaborating with managers and senior clinicians to improve patient outcomes. NSW Health supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement and a safe, inclusive workplace.

Formación

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nurse Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications.
At least 3 years' experience in the clinical area of their postgraduate qualification.
Ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development.
Experience leading activities to improve clinical service delivery and patient outcomes.
Proficiency with computer applications such as Windows, word processing and database.

Responsabilidades

Provide senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service.
Exercise extended autonomy of decision making while working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.
