Job summary

Kanda is seeking a Senior Clinical Nurse to lead in-home care for Veterans & Aged Care clients in Adelaide. You will perform comprehensive clinical assessments, deliver hands-on nursing care when needed, and mentor the care team to uphold high standards of safety and quality.

Experience in community nursing, unrestricted AHPRA registration, and a Bachelor of Nursing are essential. You’ll collaborate with GPs and hospital teams to ensure coordinated, patient‑centred outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN with current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Bachelor of Nursing qualification.
• Real experience in community nursing, home care or complex clinical settings.
• Ability to mentor and grow others.
• Driver's Licence, National Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support RNs, ENs, support workers and admin staff to deliver safe, person-centred care.
• Conduct clinical assessments and build or review individualised home care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care and clinical guidance for clients with complex health needs.
• Coordinate with GPs, hospital discharge teams and funding bodies for joined-up care.
• Monitor quality, risk and compliance including incident management and complaints resolution.
• Manage rostering, delegation of care, and efficient use of resources and consumables.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training for field staff.

As a Senior Clinical Nurse with our Veterans & Aged Care team, you'll lead the clinical side of in-home care — hands‑on enough to step in when it matters, senior enough to set the standard for everyone around you. It's complex, it's fast‑moving, and the outcome is simple: clients living safely and independently, for longer.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and supporting RNs, ENs, support workers and admin staff to deliver safe, person‑centred care
• Conducting clinical assessments and building or reviewing individualised home care plans
• Stepping in with direct nursing care and clinical guidance for clients with complex health needs
• Coordinating with GPs, hospital discharge teams and funding bodies to keep care outcomes joined up
• Keeping a close eye on quality, risk and compliance — including incident management and complaints resolution
• Managing rostering, delegation of care, and the smart use of resources and consumables
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training so your field staff are set up to succeed

You're the right person if...

• You're a Registered Nurse with current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• You hold a Bachelor of Nursing qualification
• You've built real experience in community nursing, home care or complex clinical settings
• You lead with confidence and know how to mentor and grow the people around you
• You hold a current Driver's Licence, National Police Check and Working with Children Check
