Job summary

Metro North Health is seeking a Clinical Midwife to provide advanced clinical care and leadership in maternity services at Caboolture. You will work autonomously and with the team to deliver woman- and baby-centred care, applying current evidence and expert clinical judgement.

You will mentor Registered Nurses and Midwives, contribute to safety and quality improvement, and support education for women, families and staff in a dynamic, values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Advanced midwifery assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Mentorship and teaching for women, families and staff.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of woman- and baby-centred care.
• Provide leadership and support to midwifery and nursing staff.
• Respond to changes in maternal/fetal health with expert assessment.
