Job summary

Cyrenian House is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the North Metro Alcohol and Community Service (NMCADS) in Innaloo. The role involves working with the Manager to deliver integrated AOD services and to lead reflective, innovative practice that engages consumers and responds to their needs.

The position carries a small clinical caseload and requires a degree in a relevant field, strong leadership, and counselling/clinical supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in relevant field such as Social, Behavioural, Education or Health Sciences.
• Have demonstrated management and well-developed leadership skills.
• Demonstrated and well-developed counselling and clinical supervision skills.
• Have experience in working with culturally diverse, complex, coerced, and co-morbid AOD treatment populations.
• Previous experience in report writing.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• National police clearance, Working with Children’s Check, First Aid Certificate, Driver’s Licence and full Work Rights.
• Experience in interagency networking and community related activities

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Manager of NMCADS to ensure effective delivery of integrated AOD services at Innaloo.
• Support the team to provide reflective, innovative practice that supports consumer engagement and is responsive to consumer needs.
• Promote an effective working relationship with Next Step.
• Carry a small clinical caseload.
