Job summary

FUNLHN is seeking a Senior Clinical Coder/Clinical Coder to deliver timely and accurate ICD-10-AM and ACHI classifications across the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. You will contribute to high-quality coded data used for reporting, planning and activity-based funding, with flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Relevant clinical coding qualifications aligned to ASO3 or ASO4.
• Demonstrated competency and accuracy in ICD-10-AM coding, with knowledge of ACHI and relevant coding standards.
• Strong analytical, organisational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret complex clinical information.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
• Previous clinical coding experience, with hospital or health service experience highly desirable.
• Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and Immunisation compliance as indicated on the Role description.
