Job summary

TR3 Recruitment is assisting an established aged care provider in Cairns, QLD to recruit a Clinical Care Manager. This permanent, full-time role leads a clinical team, ensuring high standards of person-centred care and regulatory compliance.

You will report to the General Manager and work Monday to Friday with day roster options. The role focuses on mentoring multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accreditation, and driving continuous improvement to achieve outstanding resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA RN registration and Bachelor of Nursing.
• Minimum 12 months' experience as a Clinical Care Manager or equivalent.
• Extensive residential aged care and clinical leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of aged care legislation and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support clinical staff including RNs and ENs.
• Oversee clinical assessments, care planning and documentation.
• Provide guidance on complex care needs and escalations.
• Maintain aged care compliance and accreditation standards.
• Drive clinical governance, quality assurance and improvement.
• Liaise with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Support clinical risk management and resource coordination.
