Job summary

Aurecon in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Consultant to lead client-side infrastructure projects and shape outcomes across Defence, Government, Social Infrastructure, Resources, Energy and Renewables. This is your chance to work with experienced professionals on nation-shaping initiatives.

You will own governance, reporting, scheduling and risk management; prepare client deliverables; manage contracts with Aurecon and third parties; and nurture strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years' experience in a Project Management capacity.
• Experience working within engineering, construction, consulting, Defence or government environments is highly regarded.
• Experience working across complex stakeholder environments and managing competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline and/or relevant equivalent experience working in these fields.
• Be an Australian Citizen and eligible for security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA)

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of infrastructure and capital works projects from planning through to delivery.
• Manage project governance, reporting, scheduling, risk management and stakeholder coordination
• Prepare high-quality client deliverables including reports, presentations, meeting minutes and project documentation
• Be responsible for Contract Administration of Aurecon and Third-Party Contracts
• Effectively manage Project as well as Business commercial risks
• Undertake analysis and problem solving to support project outcomes and client decision making
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
• Contribute to workshops, meetings and project communications
• Manage assigned tasks and workstreams effectively to meet project time, cost and quality requirements
• Demonstrate a proactive and growth-oriented mindset, seeking feedback and continuously developing capability
