Qualifications

• Typically, five or more years of experience managing Executive & Professional Lines claims.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing complex facts, determining coverage, setting reserves and developing claim strategies through negotiation or litigation.
• Relevant ANZIIF or insurance-related qualifications are desirable to strengthen technical capability.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end management of complex Executive & Professional Lines claims from first notification through resolution.
• Analyze policy wording, coverage, liability and quantum to make timely, fair and well-reasoned decisions.
• Assess exposure, establish and maintain reserves, and report significant developments with clear rationale.
• Lead investigations, negotiations and resolution strategy with external advisers and experts when needed.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and brokers through professional, transparent claims handling.
• Partner with underwriting, actuarial, legal and operations teammates to share trends and contribute to improvements.
