Job summary

Regional Earth & Civil P/L in Cobram/Barooga is seeking an experienced Civil Project Supervisor/Site Engineer to oversee the delivery of civil construction and irrigation projects, ensuring safety, timeliness and budget compliance. The role requires strong IT skills and a proactive approach.

You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors, develop project plans and budgets, and mentor the construction team, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Superintendent or Site Engineer in civil construction and irrigation.
• Strong working knowledge of construction methodologies, contract administration, and project management principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and hold a valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of construction projects, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress and troubleshooting issues.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address concerns and facilitate project approvals.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the construction team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project performance.
