Job summary

Indigenous Business Growth (IBG) is seeking a Site Engineer - Rail Systems for a major South East Queensland rail infrastructure program. You will support installation, verification and handover of rail systems across greenfield and brownfield sites, coordinating civil interfaces and readiness for testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering rail systems, signalling, communications or power projects.
• Current construction induction card and valid drivers licence.
• Ability to obtain project-specific rail/site/medical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare installation readiness checks for signalling, communications, power and control systems.
• Coordinate cable routes, pits, conduits, equipment foundations, rooms and earthing.
• Verify materials, calibration and competency requirements before work starts.
• Maintain records to systems assurance requirements (cable, termination, tests, defects, red-lines).
• Support energisation, testing, commissioning and handover under approved access/isolation.
