J. Wyndham Prince is seeking an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to step into a senior technical leadership role, Associate Director - Technical.

The position focuses on leading significant civil projects with hands-on engineering and minimal direct reports. You'll embed in the Civil Engineering and Design/Drafting team, guiding engineers, reviewing designs, and maintaining close client contact to translate requirements into practical outcomes.

Qualifications

Strong civil engineering background with leadership experience.
Ability to guide and review work of other engineers/designers.
Experience communicating technical information to diverse stakeholders.
Comfortable running and delivering projects with limited direct reports.

Responsibilities

Lead significant civil engineering projects from start to finish with technical direction.
Interface between client and internal team to translate requirements into design outcomes.
Review plans and guide engineers through complex technical challenges.
Develop others by mentoring and providing constructive feedback.
Balance client coordination with hands-on engineering leadership.
