Job summary

Transport Main Roads (TMR) in Cloncurry is seeking a Senior Engineer (Civil) to lead delivery of multiple road infrastructure projects, overseeing contract administration and coordinating design, construction and maintenance activities.

The role offers relocation assistance, FREE housing, a competitive salary (AUD 118,967–127,941 per year), 5 weeks leave, and a comprehensive benefits package designed for regional living.

Qualifications

• Requires Washington Accord accredited degree in Civil Engineering.
• RPEQ registration is mandatory for appointment.
• Class C driver licence required.
• Must be eligible to work in Australia.
• Criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and design support to ensure delivery of project outcomes.
• Maintain and apply relevant standards and guidelines.
• Determine engineering requirements for project management and delivery.
• Plan, assign, direct and coordinate work of subordinates and staff.
• Maintain liaison with internal and external stakeholders on transport infrastructure delivery.
• Undertake contract management and administration of road projects.
