Job summary

MLEI Group is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to take ownership of projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support, while building a leadership profile within a collaborative, technically strong team.

You will deliver civil design packages for land division, urban development, infrastructure, stormwater and wastewater management, manage client relationships and lead project planning, budgeting and resourcing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration or Chartered status desirable.
• 8+ years’ local civil design experience.
• Proven track record in project delivery and client-facing roles.
• Proficiency with 12D, AutoCAD, DRAINS and MUSIC.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and NCC.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil design packages for land division, urban development, infrastructure, general civil works, stormwater and wastewater management projects.
• Manage, maintain and grow trusted relationships with clients and project partners.
• Undertake project planning, including budgeting, financial management, resourcing and project deadlines.
• Contribute to technical excellence and innovation within the team.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Drive business development, fee proposals and project pipeline growth.
