Job summary

Aptus Personnel in Brisbane is seeking a Mid level or Senior Civil Designer to join a growing team focusing on land development, urban, commercial and industrial projects in SEQ. You can lead your own projects or receive direct support from the Principal to take a concept through to completion.

You will design and document bulk earthworks, roadworks, water and sewer layouts, mentor others, manage budgets and liaise with councils, clients and subcontractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience with 12d or Civil 3D for design.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• RPEQ or Chartered Engineer preferred but not essential.
• Experience in urban/land development design.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support land development, urban, commercial and industrial civil projects from concept to completion.
• Design and document bulk earthworks, roadworks, traffic management, water and sewer systems.
• Schedule your own work and mentor others.
• Manage budgets, variations, cost tracking, invoicing and financial reporting.
• Liaise with councils and authorities on approvals.
• Represent the business at client meetings and inspections.
