Job summary

Muse Recruitment partners with an Australian property & infrastructure consultancy to appoint a Senior Civil Designer/Lead based in their new Adelaide office. You will coordinate all design aspects and have the opportunity to build a team as the business grows.

You will work on a wide range of land division projects in Australia, drive project performance, resolve design issues, and lead tender documents, client reporting, and design interface across interstate teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Relevant civil engineering qualification.
• Strong design capabilities with 12D, AutoCAD and DRAINS.
• Ability to lead a team and mentor junior members.

Responsibilities

• Driving project performance and service delivery through positive technical outcomes for the client
• Proactively identify and resolve technical design issues with the client and wider design team and manage design interface.
• Lead the compilation of tender documents, client reporting, and contract negotiations.
• Liaise closely with industry and stakeholders to win work and continue business growth.

Senior Civil Designer/Lead

We are currently partnering Australian property & infrastructure consultancy, who are looking for a Senior Civil Designer (12d) to be based in their new Adelaide office. They have 400+ employees and operate in all major cities on the East Coast. Excellent company ethos, employee longevity and supportive culture.

About the opportunity

You would be responsible for coordinating all aspects of design and have the opportunity to build a team as the business continues to grow. You’ll be exposed to a wide range of integrated projects and enjoy diversity in your work.

Main responsibilities include:

• Strong design capabilities, 12D, AutoCAD and DRAINS.
• Ability and desire to lead a team.
