Job summary

EDGE Consulting Engineers in Sydney is expanding its civil design capability and invites Intermediate to Senior Civil Designers to join the team on high‑quality development and building projects. You will lead civil design packages using advanced 12d modelling for land development, commercial and residential building schemes.

Relocation to the Gold Coast area is provided for the right candidate, with a focus on ownership, technical influence and mentoring junior designers within a collaborative,

Qualifications

• 5–12+ years civil design experience in consultancy.
• Expert to Highly advanced proficiency in 12d
• Strong experience in land development, commercial or residential civil design
• Solid understanding of siteworks, drainage, earthworks and services design
• Experience producing civil drawings for development/building projects
• Proficiency with CAD platforms

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil design packages using advanced 12d modelling.
• Prepare siteworks, earthworks, drainage and services designs.
• Produce civil drawings, documentation and mark-ups.
• Assist with concept, tender and construction documentation.
• Undertake design analysis using industry software.
• Attend client and project team meetings.
• Contribute to project delivery within scope, time and budget.
• Participate in internal design reviews and QA processes.
• Collaborate with structural and civil teams across offices.
• Provide guidance to Graduate Designers/Engineers where appropriate.
