Job summary

ACOR Consultants Pty Ltd. in Sydney seeks an experienced Civil Designer to join a collaborative team working on defence, health, government, data centre and complex building projects.

You will deliver civil designs using 12d, coordinate with engineers and clients, and produce construction documentation to Australian standards while supporting the growth of civil design practices and digital delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Civil Designer in a consulting engineering environment.
• Strong proficiency in 12d for civil design and documentation.
• Experience on land development, buildings, infrastructure or urban projects.
• Sound understanding of relevant design standards and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil designs and documentation using 12d across land development, buildings and infrastructure.
• Coordinate designs with internal disciplines and external stakeholders.
• Produce concept, detailed design and construction documentation to Australian standards.
• Contribute to successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects from planning to completion.

As our Sydney Civil team continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join a collaborative and technically strong team working on a diverse portfolio of Defence, Health, Government, Data Centre and complex buildings projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside respected industry professionals, contribute to major multidisciplinary developments, and play a key role in the ongoing growth of our Sydney business.

The Role

Working closely with Civil Engineers, Project Leaders and clients, you will:

• Deliver civil designs and documentation using 12d across a range of land development, buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate designs with internal engineering disciplines and external project stakeholders.
• Produce concept, detailed design and construction documentation to relevant Australian standards.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects from planning through to completion.
• Liaise with clients, authorities and project teams to achieve practical and innovative design outcomes.
• Support the ongoing development of civil design standards, processes and digital delivery capabilities within ACOR.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience as a Civil Designer within a consulting engineering environment.
• Strong proficiency in 12d, including design and documentation for civil projects.
• Experience working on land development, buildings, infrastructure or urban development projects.
• Sound understanding of relevant design standards, authority requirements and construction practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the growth of both projects and people.
