Allura Partners is seeking a Senior Cisco Network Engineer to lead a major Cisco Meraki and Webex-based network uplift across multiple Australian sites. This contract role combines hands-on design with BAU oversight and real influence on the final architecture.
You will migrate sites from legacy infrastructure to Meraki and Webex Calling, manage cutovers, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring voice, data and CCTV converge on a single programme.
A large national business with a footprint of sites across Australia. They're replacing ageing network and voice infrastructure with a modern Cisco stack, starting with around 25 sites, and they're investing in getting it done properly.
A senior contract engineering role on a major network and communications uplift, reporting to the Network & Communications Manager. You'll move sites off legacy switching, Wi‑Fi and voice onto Cisco Meraki and Webex Calling, while carrying a share of BAU across the core network. Hands on, with real design input.
You're a network engineer first. Meraki is something you've designed and built at scale, not something you've logged into a few times. You know what's going on underneath the Dashboard.
You've also done real voice work. Webex Calling ideally, and you're comfortable working through a dial plan or chasing down a SIP trunk issue.
You can walk into a comms room nobody has documented in years, work out what's there and leave it in better shape.
You can carry project work and BAU at the same time without either slipping, and you're happy to bring a less experienced engineer along with you.
