Job summary

State of Victoria's Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Victoria seeks a Senior Child Protection Practitioner to lead risk assessment, case planning and supervision within a structured learning program. The role includes travel across in‑country regions and may involve overnight work to ensure child safety and wellbeing.

You will work with Aboriginal communities, understand relevant legislation, and support others in applying the Aboriginal Child Placement Principle in practice.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising team members in child protection settings.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment and case planning practices.
• Understanding Aboriginal culture and related legislative requirements.
