dnata catering & retail in Sydney is seeking a Senior Catering Attendant for a full-time position. You will support chefs in bulk meal prep, portioning, and presentation while stocking carts and maintaining HACCP-compliant hygiene standards. The role demands 38 hours per week and rostering across a 7-day cycle.

Strong knife skills, solid numerical ability, and clear communication are essential. PPE and a standard uniform are provided, and pre-employment checks are required.

So, what does a typical day look like?

As a full-time, Senior Catering Attendant, you’re an integral member of our team, working across a range of areas to prepare all elements required to deliver a memorable dining experience for passengers onboard our airline customers flights. To do this, you perform a variety of roles across our production kitchen, including light food prep, packing and assembling meals. Responsibilities include:

• Help chefs prepare meals in bulk.
• Measure ingredients and prepare fruit, vegetables, and proteins.
• Handle food, plate meals, and set meal trays to presentation standards.
• Stock airline carts with catering items, snacks, and beverages.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitised at all times.
• Work with team members to meet delivery deadlines.

About You

• Ability to work shift work across a 7-day roster.

• Sound knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP (desired but not essential)
• Comfortable to wear PPE gear along with a standardised uniform
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks, incl. National Police Check and medical assessment.
• Availability to work 38 hours/week, as this role is a full-time permanent position.
