Job summary

NEXTDC is seeking a Senior Category Manager to shape contingent workforce and professional services procurement across Australia and Asia. You will negotiate high-value agreements and build strategic vendor partnerships to support our rapid data centre expansion, while driving an AI-enabled procurement function using data, technology and innovative processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
5+ years of procurement or category management experience.
Experience leading contingent labour and/or professional services categories.

Responsibilities

Develop multi-year category strategies for contingent labour and professional services.
Lead end-to-end RFI, RFP and tender processes and high-value negotiations.
Design and lead the contingent workforce operating model and supplier panels.
Define and manage commercial frameworks and procurement models with third parties.
Own the category risk framework with People & Culture and Legal.
Manage supplier relationships with KPIs, scorecards and business reviews.
Collaborate with Development, Engineering and Construction teams to secure resourcing.
Implement best-practice external talent engagement policies and processes.
Explore AI and automation across category lifecycle to improve outcomes.
