About the Role

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

Remuneration: From $105,357 base + 12% Superannuation

As a Senior Case Manager, you will provide intensive case management support to individuals and families with complex needs within the Status Resolution Support Services program. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and culturally responsive services through needs assessments, case planning, referrals, and ongoing review.

You will also provide guidance, mentoring, and training to Case Coordinators and Cultural Support Workers, while contributing to service improvement, compliance and collaboration with internal and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide case management and support for asylum seekers with complex needs.
  • Lead, supervise, and support staff to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Develop and implement best practice approaches, tools, and resources.
  • Represent the organisation in meetings and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage risks, incidents, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, staff training, and professional development.

Skills & Experience

  • A recognised Degree qualification in Social Work, social sciences, psychology, nursing or mental health or a recognised diploma in a related field and working toward a degree qualification.
  • Proven experience in case management, working with individuals presenting with complex needs including trauma, mental health, physical health, child protection and family violence.
  • Ability to work autonomously while effectively managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in applying trauma-informed, strengths-based and culturally responsive practice to achieve positive outcomes
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including mentoring, coaching, training and supporting staff.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and any relevant stated based checks.
