Qualifications

• Eligibility for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated experience in assessment, case management and therapy of children, adolescents and their families presenting with mental health problems at an advanced level.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of emotional, behavioural, psychological and psychiatric disorders of children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Provide a community-based child and adolescent mental health nursing service.
• Deliver individualised care using a problem-solving approach to children and adolescents with mental health problems.

Skills

Assessment and therapy skills for mental health
