Job summary

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) in Western Australia seeks a Senior Mental Health Professional to join the CAMHS Crisis Connect team. You will provide advanced clinical care to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs, delivering crisis intervention, treatment and referrals within a multidisciplinary team.

This permanent full-time role requires involvement in service planning, quality improvement and research to ensure responsive community care.

Qualifications

• Professional registration eligibility is required for OT, Nursing or Social Work.
• Tertiary qualification in one of the listed professions is required.
• Experience in child/adolescent mental health is preferred.
• Ability to work within a 24-hour rotating roster will be assessed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced and complex patient care in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide crisis intervention, treatment and referral for individuals, families and the wider community.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary case conferences and clinical team meetings.
• Offer education, training and support to stakeholders regarding mental health care.
• Build and maintain strong links with community agencies and contribute to service planning and quality improvement initiatives.
